Chainsaw Dupont Announces Record-release Parties
Chainsaw Dupont has announced several live shows which will coincide with the release of his new CD, "Lake Street Lullaby", in October. The performances will feature new songs from the CD as well as special show-only discounts on the recording, which features a baker's dozen of original songs recorded at Pure Excitement Production Studios. "Lake Street Lullaby" is subtitled "an unfinished blues opera", and is comprised of a song cycle of thematically-tied blues tracks.
The record-release parties will be held in venues dispersed throughout the Chicago area, beginning in October, with the kickoff party on the West Side at Rosa's Lounge, 3420 W. Armitage, 773-342-0452, on Friday, October 3, and a followup the next

Chainsaw Dupont releases online preview of "Lake Street Lullaby" CD
Chainsaw Dupont has made a preview release of his new "Lake Street Lullaby" CD available for listenig online for a 24 hour period, from 10 a.m. on Friday, September 5. Visitors to http://www.chainsawdupont.com/sneakpeek can listen to all 13 tracks of the CD, filling out a survey rating the songs and giving comments, and then receive a token gift of appreciation from the producers.
