Chainsaw Dupont to appear at Chicago Blues Festival
Chainsaw Dupont recently was notified that he will appear at the Chicago Blues Festival...and will do both an acoustic solo set as well as a full band set. Times and stages are still to be announced. The Chicago Blues Festival is the largest free blues festival in the world, with over half a million persons in attendance each year, in Grant Park with the lovely Chicago skyline as a backdrop. Chainsaw will appear on Saturday, June 12th, which should be the most-attended day of the festival. Both sets will feature a healthy sampling from Chainsaw's well-received debut CD, "Lake St. Lullaby", as well as some of the blues classics he's become known for Chainsaw-izing. Full details of the festival should become available online during the month of April at the city of Chicago's website.
