Chainsaw Dupont does live recording at the legendary Checkerboard Lounge

The recently re-opened Checkerboard Lounge, a legend of Chicago blues history, has
booked Chainsaw Dupont for a special performance on January 5, which will include 3 sets, each one
featuring a different regional style of blues. The first set will feature Chicago style blues,
the second set Louisiana style, the final set Memphis style blues. Dupont will emphasize original
songs in each set, with songs from the CD "Street" trilogy. The trilogy traces the blues
experience through the 3 main cities of the blues, Chicago, New Orleans, and Memphis, with 3 CDs,
"Lake St. Lullaby", "Bourbon St. Breakdown", and the upcoming "Ghost Kings of Beale St." The
performance will be digitally recorded for possible later release, and all attendees who register
will receive a promotional copy of any resulting CD release.
