Chainsaw Dupont hosts Chicago Mardi Gras Parties
For the third year in a row, Chicago guitarist Chainsaw Dupont has been chosen for one of the coveted slots performing for Mardi Gras celebrations at Chicago's venerable cajun institution, Heaven on Seven. Chef Jimmy Banos is renowned for his gumbo, etouffe, and other Louisiana culinary delights, and his restaurants, including the flagship located in the heart of the Loop, throw such popular Fat Tuesday parties that reservations fill up weeks in advance. Chainsaw has delighted audiences at all 4 locations the last two years both with songs from his own Louisiana-styled CD, "Bourbon St. Breakdown"], as well as classic covers from the likes of the Meters, the Neville Brothers, and other Crescent City greats.
He'll be appearing 5 times in 12 days, on the two weekends before Mardi Gras as well as Fat Tuesday itself, February 28th. For details and reservations, you can visit Heaven on Seven's website at http://www.heavenonseven.com
