Chainsaw Dupont on NBC-5 Chicago, WMAQ-TV Friday, June 23

Chainsaw Dupont & the Blues Warriors continued their media saturation onslaught with an appearance on NBC's Chicago affiliate, WMAQ-TV, Friday morning, at the early/late hours of 5 to 7 a.m. While that may not sound like a tremendous feat to those of you who are 9-to-5ers, consider that they had played all night at the Checkerboard Lounge, including another round of Blues O Matic™, then killed 2 hours at another late night haunt that shall go nameless, and then and only then reported to the outdoor plaza on Michigan Ave. to set up. It was 64 degrees with a howling wind that made it feel like, well, like we were all freezing our personal expletives off. But, that's such a small price for the instant fame of TV...
